Ultraviolet (UV) Sensor (VEML6070 ) is an advanced ultraviolet (UV) light sensor with I2C protocol interface.
Ultraviolet (UV) Sensor (VEML6070 ) Contains an 8-bit command register that can be written via the I2C bus. All operations can be controlled by this command register, and its simple command structure allows the engineer to easily program the operation settings and latch the optical data from the sensor.
The sensor has a 16-bit resolution that converts the photovoltaic UV sensitivity to digital data, and the active answering function allows the issuance of an ultraviolet index (UVI) alarm signal based on a programmable threshold.
- Operating voltage: 2.7 to 5.5V
The sensor can detect the entire spectrum of the UVA and UVB bands (280-400nm)
Power density of 5μW / cm2 / step
Maximum detection capability of 328mW / cm2.
Weight: 10 g
